About the Hall

Ringford Village Hall was erected and gifted to the residents of Ringford and Tongland in 1861 by James Beaumont Neilson of Queenshill. It is now run by a committee of volunteers for the benefit of the community.We offer the hall for hire for a variety of uses including parties, clubs, meetings, sports / games and coffee mornings. Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen and sports equipment.If you have any ideas about activities or events you'd like to see in the hall, or would like to volunteer your help, please use the "Contact" button on the homepage.

Hall Hire Rates

Community Hire Rates:
£8 per hour (2 hours minimum hire)
£30 per half day (4 hours)
£55 full day (8 hours)
Discount Rates for regular bookings can be agreed with the Committee.Commercial Rates subject to agreement with the Committee.Table Tennis Table and equipment also available and included in hire rates.

What's On

SPONSORED WALK TO RAISE HALL FUNDSOn Sunday 11th September, 2022, at 11am, the hall committee are having a sponsored walk to raise funds for redecorating and repairs to the hall. We also hope this will be a chance to boost community engagement.This walk will be a 3 mile circular route from the hall via Queenshill.We will be serving teas and coffees at the hall afterwards too.If you'd like to take part, please email complete form on the "Contact" page and we will send you a sponsorship form.


DOG TRAINING CLASSESSilvia Kucinski @ Canines and Friends is now running her terriffic Dog Behaviour / Psychology and Training classes at the hall. Silvia will work with you and your pet to promote the inter-relationship between dog & owner, working with rather than against natural behaviour.Contact: info@caninesandfriends.co.uk


TABLE TENNIS:We now have two table tennis tables and all required equipment in the hall. We encourage anyone to come and play - children very welcome (with adult supervision).There is no charge for use, but a donation for the upkeep of the hall would be appreciated.
